The Chaplaincy Assistance Fund was created to support School Chaplains in Kalgoorlie-Boulder and surrounding areas to address emergency needs (not covered by other available services) they encounter as they meet with children, parents and teachers within the schools they serve. The compassionate nature of the Chaplains has meant that some of these needs were met by the Chaplains personally. Through the Fund, LMS Ministries also supports the welfare and professional development of the School Chaplains.
Through the establishment of the Chaplaincy Assistance Fund, local churches and the community can now contribute to supporting the work of local School Chaplains.
